NACTP Spring Committee Meetings 2010

We are happy to announce that the 2010 NACTP Spring Committee meetings will be held in Indianapolis IN on March 3rd and 4th.

You will be receiving detailed committee agendas from your committee chair soon but, for initial planning purposes, each committee will begin sometime between 8-9 a.m. and end at approx 5 p.m.  The committee chairs say that we have two full days of meetings/great discussion, so please plan your return travel Thurs evening or Fri morning.

We are also developing final details around a visit to the IN DOR for those who are interested - will probably occur either Tues afternoon or Fri morning.  Details to follow as soon as they are final

NACTP Fall Committee Meetings 2009

GLC, EFC, and PIRC committees will all be meeting for those 2 days. Committee chairs will be working on agendas and they hope to get those out prior to the cut-off date for hotel reservations. We hope to see many of you at a great location for some important committee meetings.

NACTP Annual Meeting 2009

This year's annual meeting will once again be held in conjunction with FTA's technology meeting. This year's location is Boise, Idaho and the dates are August 5th, 2009 through August 7th, 2009. All meetings for both FTA and NACTP will be in the Boise Convention Center.  Additionally, both groups have rooms blocked at 2 separate hotels, both adjacent to the Convention Center.

We are actively working on getting presenters. Bob Erickson (IRS Tax Forms and Publications) has confirmed. We have invited other prominent personnel from the IRS Electronic Tax Administration, IRS Submissions Processing, IRS e-help Desk, Social Security Administration, American Payroll Association, and others. We also invite speakers from every state and typically have 20 to 25 states make presentations.

NOTE: This is an election year for the NACTP officer positions. Now is a good time to start considering how you can contribute to the leadership of NACTP and/or what to look for in candidates for the positions.
